Hi everyone, I'm the owner of a male corn snake which is in need fo a new home. I've spent the past 5 years away at university and during this time my relatives have been caring for him but he's not really been getitng any exercise or much attention during this time. Now that I've finished university I will be moving away shortly and due to other things I dont really have the time to give him the attention he deserves.

The corn snake's name is Venom (he was named when I was much yougner, after a comic book character ) and he's rather old now, about 13 years. He's always had a good temperament and he's never bitten me, however since he's not been handled much recently I'm not sure if that's changed, but he's never been agressive at all.

All I really want is to make sure he has a decent new home, while friends of mine have offered to take him off me I'm not convinced they'll take care of him properly so I thought I'd post on forum dedicated to snake keepers. As I said, I'm not looking to make money, I just want to know he'll be well cared for. As such I'm giving him away with his tank (roughly 4' x 1' x 1'6") and it's contents: a heat mat, some climbing logs, a water bowl and an up-turned pot with a hole in it for him to hide in.

I live in south Wales, Pembrokeshire to be specific, so I'm not entirely sure on the transport arrangements for anyone who's interested in taking him off my hands. If anyone's interested, knows someone who may be interested or if you have any other questions then please contact me!

Thanks very much!
