Posted - 22/08/2009 : 10:36:12 mine are only 'handled' for a few seconds that it takes to move them to another tub when cleaning, your snake will probably appreciate being left alone anyways ;) |

Posted - 22/08/2009 : 09:02:50 I think daily handle is for only those willing to or the snake needs to lose weight Most college courses are like 8/9 - 5 till anyway? Unless you have one of the twilight ones.. I'm sure could fit 15 mins in every couple of days or so..?
But whatever you chose to do, good luck with it. |

Posted - 20/08/2009 : 21:11:32 i agree with hannah. 10-15 mins a night will do ample. i handle mine probably 3 times a week for 15 mins and they havent turned. have good old think whether its what you want to do blake. i have college and work at weekends and i find time for them. but if you feel like you need to get rid then its what you must do. but seriously mate i doubt people will tell you to get rid of because you cant handle it everyday.
let us know what you decide mate |

Posted - 20/08/2009 : 18:17:03 there are people on here who dont handle their snakes as they dont require handling everyday.. i think we just assume they do.. is there no way at all you could keep her? im out for 10+ hours monday - friday during the day and generally similar amounts at the weekend depending on work.. i get mont out for 15ish mins just before i go to bed even if it is 11pm just so i can see him.. im sure he doesnt mind the time or mind if i dont get him out everyday..i change his water and do a quick spot check when i first get up aswell is there really no way you could keep her? |

Posted - 20/08/2009 : 00:43:23 Yeah, i would have kept him/her except college is going to take up all weekdays, and most of my spare time im doing a pumbing apprentiship so i dont think it would be fair on the snake not to handle it. |
