We are first timers in the snake world and are looking for a hatchling corn snake in the Gillingham, Kent area. We have found some in local pet shops but they seem to be £60 plus, does anyone have any they are wanting to home for free or around £10-15? We already have a home and pinkies in the freezer for the snake so everthings already prepared for the new arrival!

Brookestar Posted - 04/08/2009 : 12:54:27
stockport pet warehouse. £50 is stupid

Well the ones local to me, being Twydal and Teynham, are selling them for £50.
What's your reptile shops name?? And where is it??
And as I say, they don't handle them, so they wont be very tame in reptile shops.

And I'm making sure they feed at least 3 times before sale, to ensure they are ready and healthy for re-homing!!
n/a Posted - 04/08/2009 : 11:24:39
That is wrong, they normally fetch around £50-60 in pet shops!!
Also, in pet shops they're not hand-reared from birth, so are usually less tame!!
Brookestar Posted - 04/08/2009 : 11:19:41
normally they are £15ish
