I have come into school during the holidays to find large numbers of baby giant snails have hatched. I am afraid the final destination will be the freezer unless anyone on the forum would like some.

Had the same happen to me a few weeks ago, nightmare. Luckily someone on RFUK took all of them for their invert society.

If you are not all ready registered I suggest you register on RFUK and post in the invert section or food classifieds on there. Why did no one take the snails home for the school holidays? Not really fare to just leave them in school. My kids, when they were younger, always brought the school snails home when it was the holidays mainly so they could be fed and misted but also to prevent babies.
