Posted - 30/07/2013 : 22:35:42 It's due to personal medical reason, I'm having to do this. Far, far from what I wanted to be doing this autumn, I'm going to have to let a few of my beloved snakes go to new homes. This has been such a hard decision as well because they give me so much pleasure

Posted - 15/08/2013 : 20:43:08 I'm happy to report that Damon is going to a family who keep and re-home reptiles, and he will be going just up the road from me. I'm happy that he has found a good place to go.
That means they've all found homes, so that you for your interest and your support.

Posted - 09/08/2013 : 15:39:19 Okay so Clementine is in a new, loving home. Very happy for her indeed. Also, Dave is going to his new home at the end of this month. He's coming on a road trip with us all the way up to Manchester (where he was born incidentally).
Damon is still looking for a home. Feel free to contact me via email if you have any questions at all. I'm happy to answer any, especially about delivery. I'm happy to travel because my fuel is "free". My email is NexivRed@gmail.com |

Posted - 01/08/2013 : 01:25:36 Okay, weighed Dave and he has put on 3 grams since I started force feeding him, and is now back up to 10 grams. Extremely pleased with the fact he's doing well. |

Posted - 31/07/2013 : 13:03:15 Yeah sorry, forgot to add a location.
I'm in Stowmarket, Suffolk but I can travel certain distances for the right homes. |

Posted - 30/07/2013 : 22:47:52 Lastly is another of my recent additions, again chosen purely because I have a stronger bond with my older snakes. Hexus-Dave is a May baby, a selectively bred diffused bloodred het for hypo and lavender. Dave has had his last four meals force fed so for this reason he needs to go to knowledgeable, caring hands. He poos and sheds fine, but lost some weight after refusing two feeds, hence the force feeding. I'm sure he will happily get to a stage where he feeds much better, and he handles the force feeds quite well bless him. I will weigh him once he's poo'd (fed on Sunday). Because of Dave's special requirements, I am not looking for anything for him as he will come with just his home that he lives in and a thermometer (he currently shares a mat/stat that I'm keeping), and also because of his feeding difficulties. Perhaps a £5 fee to dissuade impulse buyers, however I will not let Dave go to anyone who hasn't had experience doing this before. I know I learnt how to do it quickly, but I don't want someone to get bored of him and for him to be moved around a lot.

Posted - 30/07/2013 : 22:41:50 Next is my recently acquired boa constrictor baby, Damon. I love this snake and it's so not his fault he has been chosen. But as he is a snake I have no had very long compared to some of the others, unfortunately he is to be re-homed. I want to stress how fantastic this boy is. He is such a wonderfully inquisitive snake; always comes out for a good look when you've moved his stuff around to clean. Loves roaming about and climbing in his enclosure. He strike feeds like a champ, poos fine, and the one shed he's had with me was perfect. He comes with a 3 foot viv on a custom made wooden stand that means it sits a few inches off the floor. He also comes with a heat mat, digital thermometer, separate digital thermometer and hydrometer, and a habistat stat. He has a water bowl and some decor, and also some custom built things in his viv such as his climbing frame. Looking for around £50 in total for Damon and his whole set up. He comes with everything you need for the first portion of his life, and you can just get straight down and enjoy him. Again, I may be able to deliver or meet part way.

Posted - 30/07/2013 : 22:36:30 Okay, let's begin. First up is Clementine. She's a hypo motley and came to me a long time ago. She's 2 years old and around 250g. She likes to be left with her food, and I usually leave it on her hide. She'll then come out to take it. Never had a problem shedding or pooing. She will come with her customised 50L RUB, a ministat, thermometer and a (little bedraggled but working) heat mat. All her accessories can go with her so she's in familiar surroundings. I would like £30 to cover the cost of the electrical equipment, and to dissuade impulse buyers. I could possibly deliver depending on where you are.
