Personally I would not buy any snake without seeing or handling it first, also I would want to see all the shed and feed records before I would even consider a purchase.
If you do make a puchase online check what insurance they have and would provide should anything happen to snakey in transit
On another note we've got a brilliant reptile shop in Shepton Mallet (thats only just opened) where nothing is to much trouble the've got a nice selection of corns and they be able to help get what your looking for also the chap that runs it is very knowledgeable.
Your only 30 mins or so up the road from me if your stuck for transport I dont mind offering a fellow corn snake member lift if you cover the cost of the diesel to and from it would be a lot cheaper than a courier plus you would get to see snakey before you buy

i don't know how much couriers are, if I get amel stripe they won't be expensive (playing the hets game with this one so no guarantees)

How much is courier tho? and how much would you charge 4 the snake?

That's a lovely thought :)
