Posted - 17/05/2010 : 21:59:49 I've been browsing my second favourite site - preloved - and come across this advert for some babies. It says dad is creamsicle and mum is okeetee. Looking at the pics of the babies I'm thinking that there must be some hets there. The darker ones look like normals but not so sure about the lighter ones. At first thought i guessed amel but I don't know how the rat snake in the creamsicle will effect them. would that make them creamsicle too?
I was trying to test my morph detecting skills but I'm not doing very well so help please!!

Posted - 19/05/2010 : 15:01:51 Yeah i knew they would be hybrids if one of the parents was a creamsicle but I wasnt sure what hybrids the babies were as they were different colours. Thanks eeji. I do like rootbeers but I know if I went to have a look then I would end up wanting one of each. Mind you, saying that I emailed them for extra photos and they said they haven't eaten yet so I will be staying away for now. Actually I have to stay away until after my holiday so they will probably have all gone by then |

the hatchlings are hybrids, as the creamsicle is a hybrid so is the offspring
I didn't read the little thing at the bootom, just looked at the pictures.
But yes since one of the parents is a hybrid the hatchlings are also.
giveaway was in the original post, where it says dad was a creamsicle

Posted - 18/05/2010 : 22:12:05 that advert is misleading, because they're not cornsnakes. If one parent is hybrid, as said all the babies will also be hybrids.
This would make them Creamsicles and Rootbeers judging by the pic. |
