Am right in thinking that most little anery's have black tongues and then they go pink when they are older? |

I think anery type A has the yellow btw :) I think it's the B without the yellow. |

Luna is very nearly a year old and has a black tongue. I thik she is an Anery B...whichever one has the yellow bits anyway. She has yellow on her neck. |

Does he have pinky kinda tips at the end? I know when my anery was one or 2 years old when I got her she definitely had a pink tongue. |

Never thought of this before but noticed last night Saracen (Carolina) = pink tongue, Twilight (Anery 9 months old) = black tongue. Cool . |

Ive got an anery, and ive got a ghost, you brought the ghost into the post not me, so i am giving my opinion on the OP thread, and also pointing out there are differences between aneries and ghosts so as not to confuse things.

Well it could mean that the anery I keep thinking of isn't an anery or just a super light coloured one as it has purpley pinky tongue and the rest at the same age that are definite anerys have black tongues although my adult anery has a purpley pinky tongue. Hopfully Kellog will see this post and some and answer.
gmac, is your anery an adult or a shoelace? And if s/he is an adult, did you see his tongue when s/he was younger? |

Responding with something that is a different morph (albeit it does contain the anery gene) is totally useless and a waste of time.
Ghosts are Hypo Aneries are they not? I thought it to be somewhat relevant.
The hypo gene reduces the black melanin, does this include the tongue? would this therefore cause the tongue to become a purpley colour rather than a full on black? |

My adult girl has a pink tongue too that's why I was wondering. One of the little baby anery's tongue's is pink but that's a pale anery and the rest have jet black tongues lol. |

i don't know about baby anerys i've never had one but the adult girl i used to own has a pink tongue :)
