At what age can i expect my Bloodred to actually start turning red?
And how long will it take to complete the colour change?

Yes, Bloodred and Diffused get banded around as one and the same.

unless its been selectively bred to be a bloodred, it probably won't.

There is no age, it just happens gradually over the course of their lives as they shed. Some will never go all the same colour red and you will still be able to see their saddles.
