snows basically lack red pigment(erythrin) and black pigment(melanin), that just leaves yellow (xanthin) to come through as they get older...

most corns will develop yellow as they mature, how much all depends on the individual and also the line they are from.
Compare how much yellow is in Chrissy's snow above to this one of mine (of the same age): http://www.thecornsnake.co.uk/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=7324

They get these markings down their saddles and sides as they grow, MOST snake morphs do, my caro and amel have got them and i know anery's get them.

Just shows maturity.
