Posted - 16/12/2009 : 10:24:08 When we first bought Cinnamon we was told it was a 'female amel' , which we was told was completely the wrong morph the very next day, and was also popped as a male a few days ago.
We was then told he could be Creamsicle, but looking at pictures online he doesn't look like many of them, and we was also told he could be a butter, but most of the pics i see of them they are quite bright yellow in colour!
We're so confused!

Posted - 17/12/2009 : 16:09:42 If he's creamsicle, then any babies would also be hybrids. |

Posted - 17/12/2009 : 16:04:14 Thats if he's definately a creamsicle. Iv seen a lot of butter hatchlings that look like him, maybe he might change as he gets older thanks |

Posted - 17/12/2009 : 15:34:17 im guessing any babies would be 75% corn 25% rat..

Posted - 17/12/2009 : 14:05:34 I'm not sure if his colours might fade/change as he gets older. I would of thought the pet shop would of known if the snake was 100% corn or if somewhere down the line a rat snake was introduced! I think he's the worst breeder in the world!
What would happen if we used him for breeding in the future? Would all the hatchies carry the creamsicle/rat snake gene? |

Posted - 16/12/2009 : 23:00:39 Cinnamon is too orange to be butter and not red enough to be amel, so I'd go along with creamsicle - which isn't a corn, its a hybrid (corn x emoryi) |

Posted - 16/12/2009 : 19:15:19 I didnt look at any pictures of any other creamsicle\butter corns i just took peoples word for it but when everyone was saying something different i googled some photo's to try and find a match but couldnt then we found out 'she' is a 'he' and the expert wasnt 100% sure what morph he is so thought i'd ask back here seen as you peoples have been keeping snakes for years |

Posted - 16/12/2009 : 17:26:33 I did notice the baby butter corns in a pet shop near us looked incredibly like Cinnamon, but when i googled it mainly all i got was quite a yellow looking snake. The 1st and 3rd show off his colours perfectly. The colours fade slightly down his body too |
