Posted - 29/09/2013 : 12:13:50 need a greater mind than mine here, these are the parents of my little Aztec hatchie 'Metro'
dad-in blue.
and mum. As a quick reminder here's Metro:
so how is this inherited?I'm guessing as the parents are not visual they have to be hets for aztec? mum looks a bit creamsicle to me? what hets would the hatchie have? is this inherited like the motley/stripe? or more random? how is this related to the zig zag? hope someone out there can help- |

Posted - 03/10/2013 : 11:58:27 Heya!
The first thing to know to get less confused is that a corn can't be "het aztec" as aztec is not something that is determined by a single gene. It's usually selectively bred for, but occasionally you'll have an oddball snake that looks aztec even though it came from non-aztec parents. Sometimes it's related to incubation issues as well, so it's pretty random ^^ |
