Hi, recently had the morphs of my young uns questioned, and had me thinking too. Parents: Hypo het Motley, Lavender and Anery Motley het Hypo.
I think that 1: hypo, 2: normal female, 3: normal motley, 4: normal.

Thoughts apreciated! Two and Four are up for sale

When I said that I meant some form of normal Motley Stripe sort of thing?

All normals, one normal motley something lol. Normals vary, even when just coming out the egg. I've had one that hatches bright red, others the normal normal colour and ones that hatched and looked like anerys for months before getting any orange colour.

I think they all look like normals, maybe motley if the belly is clear from checkers.

Hang on... Number 3 looks like some form of Stripe x Motley to me...?
It has the stripe about a 3rd of the way down it's body THEN it turns to motley... Is it possible it's a Motley Stripe(2 visible traits)?

I can't see much of a difference in the ventral scales, but I'll call him normal. Reason I'm questioning so much is because he is so much brighter than the other two. Doesn't matter, he is beautiful no matter what

Hypos usually have a slightly different belly pattern, as seen here: http://iansvivarium.com/morphs/species/elaphe_guttata/hypomelanistic/?sid=

All normals for me x

Bump. I'm still rather inclined to think that I've got two normals and a hypo. Anyone beg to differ?
LarkaDawg Posted - 12/10/2012 : 20:38:59
Thanks for the replies, only the stripy one has a clear belly, so I think she's a motley. The others have their checkers.
Here are some photos as requested:

All normals motley if they have blank bellies x
Dancross0 Posted - 11/10/2012 : 16:37:06
I'm inclined to say that they're all normals, and a motley normal. The 1st one looks to be a bright normal, as I cant see any of the ruby sheen in it's eyes. A close up pic of it's head and belly would be helpful...

Anyone? :3

Some comparisons of 1 with 2 and 4
