WE have just got our first baby corn snake and s/he is a beautiful mix of a Lavender and a Butter can any one advise on the morph if there is one for her

Posted - 01/09/2012 : 20:33:56 het is to do with genetics. Basically, it means that she is a normal but she carries the genes for lavender, caramel and amel. Het is short for heterozygous, meaning she has one copy of the gene. These genes are all recessive which means she must be homozygous (have two copies) to show the colour morph of the gene.
