fair enough, i knew miamis were normal just wasnt sure how close the genetics were..im not to worried just curious would like to know for def what she is lol but either way doesnt matter to me she is still beautiful.

What you have to remember is that a Miami IS a normal... It just has slightly varying colours. Genetically (to a certain degree) they are the same. So don't worry too much about being "normal" or "Miami", just like "Sunglow" and "Amel", they are the same, but just selectively bred versions. As most people will attest on here I think, "Normals" are one of the most beautiful morphs on here

-nods- the orange usually means normal. My Saphira had so little orange when she was little that you could barely even tell it was there.

Looks like my Carolina (normal) did when she was that small.

this best pic i got doesnt show coloursbrilliantly - dark red saddled with faint orange circles between and ground a browny grey d...do u think miami or normal?
Isoldael Posted - 26/06/2012 : 17:07:38
Any orange between the saddles is a giveaway that it might be a normal, not a miami. As far as I know, miamis start out quite grey already, haven't heard of the grey appearing later yet.

My Saphira started out grey as well ^^

Just looking at your pic, I'd say it was hard to identify fully, could you post one minus post-effects? True Miami's do have a base colour of a grey/blue colour, and it looks amazing and striking in comparison to the crimson reds... One of my favourite morphs.

Not sure but there are a lot of pics on here with the ages against them
