I have 2 corn snakes, a Butter Morph and a Carolina. I've been told that my Carolina may be a cross between a Carolina and a Ghost or Snow because she's very light for a Carolina.
Ideas?
Carolina Corn Snake. 6 years old, 5ft long.
Butter Corn Snake. 2 1/2 years old, 5ft long.
What do you think? Is she a poor Carolina or a cross? |

Could she be a 'Buf' morph?
Description;
Buf was first discovered in 2001 by Jan Notté in the Netherlands, and has a hypoerythristic effect on the colour (reduces reds). |

Her belly is speckled like a carolina's but with less patterning. There are just the odd speckled every now and then, she does have the whole bit where her belly goes pink-ish at the end. It starts white with the speckles then goes pink-ish coloured as it gets to her tail.

The 'carolina' may be a hypo
Whats her belly pattern like?
As far as i know, most hets dont really affect how corns look; a carolina x ghost would look like a carolina, unless there were any matching het in the parents... hypo for example  |

OK, thank you. It just surprised me as I've always known her as a Carolina.
Thank you, I'm proud of my Butter as I bought him from someone on a different site and he's so calm as you can see from the pictures of him sat on my bed. |

i think shes just a light one, there can be so much variation, they are both so pretty |
