Eeji - I know that you have a lot of beautiful snake rather than mine lol :-D

If I had to give up all mine and just keep one then I'd happily choose a bright normal

Ooooh, a very nice normal! Hehee, we should get her and my Rimmer together to make babies when they're older, those babies will be florescent lol!

That's a very pretty and bright coloured normal so yes you should morph her as a normal lol. She has a lovely patturn on her neck though.
vicpineda Posted - 19/05/2012 : 03:32:35
Thanks a lot guys! Now i should morph her as Normal rather than okeetee, but what ever the morph she is i love the pattern, stripe on the neck the the brightness of the body :)
gmac Posted - 18/05/2012 : 22:43:53
is just an odd funky pattern on the neck not motley stripe

that is one beautifully bright corn, and if it were mine I wouldn't care what people called it because I'd be too busy admiring it!

Okeetees are normals, and the general consensus is that they are defined by a clean bright orange body, clean bright red saddles (both of which yours has), and thick black saddle borders. Because its all based on peoples opinion one persons okeetee won't be 'good enough' for someone else to give it the name, or vice versa.

Then there are locality purists who insist an okeetee is only an okeetee if it was caught on the grounds of the okeetee hunt club in south carolina (or descended from pure lines).

Rich Zuchowski sums it up perfectly here: http://www.serpenco.com/cultivars/okeetee.html
Georgina Posted - 18/05/2012 : 19:50:56
I'd say normal x
lupi lou Posted - 18/05/2012 : 18:01:19
normals have black marking just not as thick as the okeetee, have you compared them on ians viv? am tempted to say normal, either way he/she is a very nice snake

You probs want to wait til Eeji answers though for your definate answer.

And dont worry, i thought okeetee and normal were the same when I first got my Espher ;)

I do research about the difference, the google says that okeetee have a thick black marking and normal dont have, but when you look the picture its almost the same lol
