Posted - 06/12/2011 : 14:02:18 This is very confusing lol. From reading Cathy Loves book on corn snakes my 2 are Blizzards, both of mine are very white, 1 has only very very light saddles that are very hard to see unless you take a picture and the flash goes off, and as in Cathy loves book it says "others posses a faint shadow pattern only visible in strong light", and my other one is completely white with no markings what so ever. They both have white bellys too |

Posted - 05/12/2011 : 21:53:21 Your best bet would be to look at the belly and see if you can spot any checkers. A whiteout has no checkers on the ventral due to the diffusion,whereas the blizzard does. With this kind of colour though it could be hard to spot. |

Posted - 05/12/2011 : 20:35:37 I think its that blizzard is a white snake with faint cream markings (i.e saddles, stripe or motley) whereas whiteout has the diffused gene so it loses its markings? Blizzard: Amelistic+Charcoal Whiteout: Amelistic+Charcoal+Diffused

Posted - 05/12/2011 : 20:00:44 Im not sure about whiteouts but I know blizzard hatchlings are totally pink and stay pink for quite a while and slowly with every shed the pink starts to lessen and the white starts to become noticeable |
