it depends if the stripey motley is het stripe or not -this has no effect on the visual pattern

I think figs is right with the motley x stripe giving just motley but a stripe x motley/stripe (bit of both lol) should give a 50/50 chance of striped babies, maybe wrong but I was reading about this the other night while bored :)

normal stripe, deffo not a bloodred stripe, the head is the big giveaway for bloodreds.

If you bred the stripe to your amel you'd get normals het amel and stripe
and if he does carry hets; normals het amel and stripe, ph hypo and anery

I think putting a motley to a stripe can give you patterns that look a lot like stripes, but they arent true stripes

can get stripes when i put a motley and stripe together i thought both had to be either visible stripped, or het for striped

The first picture is definitely a stripe. Normal i think!
If he is het for ghost (hypo and anery) then breeding him(?) to your ghost motley would give you;
anery motley/stripes het hypo
hypo motley/stripes het anery
ghost motley/stripes
and normal motley/stripes het hypo, anery

ok thank you. what would i possible get if i breed him with my amel
shaunb Posted - 01/09/2011 : 22:43:03
your stripe looks exactly like my normal stripe
marc_sg Posted - 01/09/2011 : 21:12:09
i'll remember that about the ghost. and i was thinking a normal but i looked at a bloodred strip and it looked near on the same

A ghost is a hypo anery, so i dont believe you can have a hypo ghost
You have a ghost motley

The first picture is definitely a stripe. Normal i think!

anery motley/stripes het hypo
hypo motley/stripes het anery
