Posted - 21/03/2011 : 14:37:42 A couple of pics of Johns tummy. Not brilliant, its a little difficult to take a pic and hold him, but thought you might be able to tell whether normal or hypo. His underneath looks very similar to my amels, just slightly darker. No black on his underneath at all. All taken in natural light no flash.

Posted - 22/03/2011 : 11:45:08 I got John from a private sale. Young lad hatched them and advertised them as brown corn snakes. Turned out well getting 2 different morphs for my money. Well pleased. |

Posted - 22/03/2011 : 06:30:29 yes i'd go for hypo too, and yes hypo is short for hypomelanistic
often found mis-labelled in pet shops as normals.........*whistles* |

Posted - 21/03/2011 : 17:59:53 i would say hypo, unless he is in shed, but even so, those belly checkers would say to me he is hypo. |

Posted - 21/03/2011 : 15:12:31 The photo is a little dark but I thought if I used a flash it may be to bright lol. This one i took of him in his tub again no flash . You can see how light his body is though. His checkers are just slightly darker than my amels but nothing like any of my others.

Posted - 21/03/2011 : 14:57:13 I don't have a clue, sorry.
All I know is my hypo motleys have no dark on them at all, they are just different shades of orange!
John still looks like he has dark belly checkers in the pics but his body does look pale.
Be interesting to see what the morph experts say. |
