Posted - 20/03/2011 : 13:52:04 Ello everyone,
not been on here for a while. Posted some pictures of my snakes a few months ago, one of them has died as she wouldn't eat, so the breeder let me pick a new one instead - I forgot to ask what morph it is though and also I'm not sure about Roland being a blood red?
Help please! :)
Roland
Roland & Raphael ( Raphael is still a bit shy, so it's a bit hard to get a decent photo of him just yet, he's kinda rusty brown - it's hard to tell sometimes because of the light and stupid iphone cam! )

Posted - 20/03/2011 : 16:28:36 Hello Hannah,
thanks for your reply. Not too sure about the reason, I did keep her seperate after the 3rd time she wouldn't eat.. Even kept her in a different room where she'd be all by herself and wouldn't get disturbed by anyone.. then called the breeder after 2 and a half weeks and he said to wait another week and try again.. That wouldn't work either, so he said to bring her over for a couple of weeks and he'd call me once she's eaten, then keep her with him for another couple of weeks just to be safe.. Then 3 weeks passed and I got a call from him - she's eaten, but then didn't surive it. I might put Raphael in a seperate tank as you suggested as he's still very shy and doesn't really come out. He's with us for a bit over a month now.
Anyways, thanks again. :) |

Posted - 20/03/2011 : 14:00:33 the bottom snake in the last pic is a normal, the other is probably a bloodred
not to be rude but your one that died might not have eaten because of the stress of living with another snake.. it would be best to separate them as they don't appreciate the company of another snake.. this is a good link to read.. http://www.thecornsnake.co.uk/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=1070 |
