Mother was a very bright orange normal. She was kept with 3 males, a ghost, an anery and a miami. Could the eggs of been a mixture of all 3 males mating her? Don't know if thats possible with corns. Both of these are from the same clutch and are 4 months old. I'm intersted to know what sort of colouring they are likely to have when adult. I assume John will be like his mum but not sure what to expect of Kevin, his head is totally different colouring to his body. Any ideas? I have looked on Ians vivarium but it doesn't match hatchlings with adult colouring. John first photo, Kevin second photo.

JOHN

KEVIN

Thankyou.

Both looks like normals to me, as I had some babies last year that looked the same in terms of colour. They can look very different to each other.

Thanks Mike, when he has settled I will take a photo of the belly and post it here for your opinion. It doesn't matter what he is I would just like to know.

not entirely right, but half way there. normal to normal can give you almost anything, as long as the hets match with both the father and the mother. to me one looks hypo and the other a dark normal, which would mean that both parents are het for hypo. the easiest way to see would be look at the belly checkers, compare them to the darker one, if they are different, as in they are much lighter and do not have the strong outline the other has, then he is most likely hypo.

Thanks for that Sly. Do you have any idea what sort of colouring Kevin is likely to be as adult?
