Heres a couple more of him the other day, still indoors but with my camera and not my phone, will get some outdoors when it stops raining

I would have said that in the first pic, because of the white t shirt, your camera has under exposed, and made the colours darker, and in the second, because its dark, it has over exposed, making it lighter. but certainly from the second pic, unless the camera is adding colours that arent there, i would say caramel.

Hi thanks guys, will get some pics of him in the day for you without the flash, and will try the kitchen towel thing for next feed
eeji Posted - 04/03/2011 : 21:59:16
can you get some pics in natural light without flash?

That's exactly what I thought. I think you might have to wait a while for his colours to come out fully!

One word of advice, I've seen you feed Striker in his viv on the bare substrate. If I were you to avoid impaction (snake swallowing a bit of bark stuck to Roland) to put a piece of kitchen roll under it, and watch him making sure he doesn't drag it off.

Hi, the pictures are both of Striker the first one was in nov when we first had him the second a week ago, so bit of an age difference

Having seen the other thread it seems people think he may be a caramel.

He does look like a caramel hatchie.

Ah who cares lol he is gorgeous no matter what he is :)

If you have a look here you can see a hatchling Carolina/normal and an adult.

It's amazing how much they change.

Strikers lovely :)

He's a carolina :P You see that faint orange strip running down his back? That will eventually all replace the greyish tones.
