hi all, ive been looking at pictures of corn morphs and after every one who has seen amber pictures saying that theres a chance that shes a zig zag, so today i went hunting for a proper pic of a zig zag and the pic revealed that she has some of the zig zag markings but they only go half of the way down her body and the rest of her body seems to be ordinary markings.
could this possibly mean that she has the zig zag het or genes inside her or not. |

I've seen sellers have different percentages of 'zigzag' offspring for sale, so if yours were to be sold, I guess you could label her as a 50% zigzag. This person I was looking at had 50%, 80% and 90% zigzag snakes, and it all just meant the amount of zigzag on the body. |

the pictures of her in the faun are old, they are when i first had her, the depth of the aspen has been shortened since then to alittle over a prinkling, i would say about 5mm thick |

Nice pics. Shee is very pretty.
That aspen is still very thick over the heatmat though. Infact it looks slightly thinner at the cooler end? |

zigzag is a polygenetic trait (more than one set of genes at work) so a corn can't be 'het zigzag' and it isn't easily predictable.
A zigzag bred to a zigzag has more chance of producing more zigzag babies but even this isn't guaranteed, so there is a chance that one of your snakes ancestors had some amount of this patterning. |
