hello all i am a new snake owner, and have just brought a corn snake and love him, i didnt know you could get so many diffrent kind of corn snakes so what do you think mine is? on his belly its like black and white squares, and heres a pic of him thanks all.

hi all thanks so much for all your advice, i will get some scales to weigh him so i know hes getting enough food, hes due for a feed friday so fingers crossed he eats ok.

he should easily manage a small mouse, maybe even a small-ish medium

For now get a couple of hoppers/fluffs and see if one looks about right.

If it doesn't leave a lump then try a small mouse.

If you can weigh him and measure him then it will give us a better idea so that we can tell you what he should be eating and how often.

Corns look smaller than they are when coiled in your hand. My Stella is 15 months old, 3 feet and 200g. She looks about the same length as yours in second pic.

If you can get a set of digi scales and weigh her then that would be cool. Mine were a tenner from Argos, the cooking ones.

hi gaz i was told when i brought him (sunday) the man said he was about one, i would say hes about 1 and a half foot, and hes not very heavy at all, i agree the first pics he look big lol

Looks quite small from the 2nd pic just feed every 5 to 7 days or 7 to 10days should be fine.
