This is Hendrix, my 08 Corn, I cant help but notice that by the age of two all other carolinas base colour (ie. not saddles) seems to be very orangey all along whereas Hendrix's base colour is still a sort of pale murky brown. He's definitely a wildtype, but I'm not sure if hes entirely Carolina, any ideas?

Oh, and the chappie in my rep shop said he looks a little okeetee...

He's whole throat has, in the last week, turned completely orange!

He looks like my little one and like my big guy in his young days, they are both normals. He went from that colour to bright red/orange all over :) Sometimes they go bright, sometimes they don't.

Thanks for clearing that up as I got him from a friend I dont really know exactly where he came from, but I think hes's gorgeous, now I just need the little blighter to stop trying to run away from me when I'm handling

he's definetly not okeetee the colours aren't half bright enough. "Carolina" is just a posh word for normal or wild type, which are as variable as you like - from bright reds and oranges right across to dark murky brownish looking red, or even grey/tan ground colouring.

I would still say he was a normal (Carolina) Wild types can vary alot in appearance and his colours are still changing. Although his borders are fairly thick, I don't know wether i would class him as an okeetee. He's a very good looking normal though.
