Thanks Kellog, the vivid white markings are really a very pale yellow, hence the name banana lol. Also I do use feeding tongs with her, while she is the friendliest of snakes in and out of her faun, when i put her in her feeding RUB she knows what is coming and will strike at anything that comes near her RUB, on occasion even attacking the RUB so knocking a limb of is nothing unusual for her. silly snake .

Sorry Graeme, not getting on here as much as I want to so only just seen this post.

'My' king is absolutely gorgeous! I certainly did well adopting her sight unseen !! I do love the way she has lines and spots for her markings, and the white is so vivid against the black. Have never heard of an abbarent banana king before, they certainly come in all different colours and markings. I cant believe Calypso managed to knock a leg off when she struck - assume you use feeding tongs ??!!

Your royals are sweet and it is lovely seeing them eat (that is quite a compliment coming from a seriously non-royal lover !!)

You wont find any, photoshop doesnt leave any tell tale signs ,

We had to assist the wee girly royal at first but after about 3 months or so she decided enough was enough I can do it better myself and has only missed 1 feed since January now.
