I went to Lee's in the week to probe his new boas. Neither were very happy about it and tensed up their tails. They both probed 4 scales, but we couldnt be sure (4 scales would make them female).
Had another go at it today. The new tactic was to let them out for a bit so that they relaxed, and put their body in a tube to keep them still. The tube idea was Phils (kehhlyr), no idea why we listened to him.
She doubled back on her self twice so we had to rip the tube open...
After removing the snake, we probed both of them and still got 4 scales each, so decided on them both being female.
(How good would this photo have been if my jeans wernt there)

No, all the shots of the boa out of the tube are of the same snake, the one in the tube is the other one that I didnt get any other photos of. |

Lovely boas, everytime i see one i want one more and more. Think i might have to start seeing how much room we have spare. |
