Strange the way his eyes have changed from being yellow to orange.

Agree with you Danny....but have you also noticed how wide his body seems in the 1st pic wrapped around Dan's thumb? Or is that just a trick of the camera?

xxx

Don't you always

Looks to me like its because of the angle of the body, it looks chunky because its like looking at the side of the snake ratehr than the top of the snake.

You know I always agree with you....how can I do otherwise, I bow to your superior knowledge !!

I did wonder about the angle and whether it was just the way the body was....all the pics we have seen of him have mainly been of 'that head' and 'those eyes'....not sure we have ever seen the whole body but am assuming it is all as whip-like as the bit his head is attached too !

xxx

I don't know about superior knowledge, i just post before others lol.

The main part of the body will be a bit bigger but still probably isn't as big as the head, although to be sure you would have to ask dan obviously.

I think most tree snakes have very slender bodies, afterall they do pretty much everything in the tree, even hunting from it.

I think the only tree snake that comes to mind that is quite chunky is the green tree python.

P.S. Yes i did watch alot of Animal planet and nat geo back in the day lol.

Yep, pretty much spot on there
Thanks for the comments! He's an Amazon Tree Boa, Staple
