Great photos! Love the slow worms. Don't see many around here. Plenty of snakes if you know where to look though.

Zoom did come in handy But seriously, that guy was sooo docile. I move him onto the path with a twig and he didnt strike or show any signs of aggression at all. Still, Wasnt gonna risk getting my fingers close enough.

Lol, Kellog! Sounds fun

Went to check on the Slowies again yesterday and I counted at least 14 babies, like the one in the photo

My husband mastered the adder dance when an adder started chasing him! He did have on walking boots so wasnt too worried about getting struck and he wanted to try and get a pic. He did get a lecture from me when he got home but doubt it did any good! xxx

fab piccies!
i would love to put some slates or something like that down in my garden to attract things but i know that the chook would just eat whatever decided to call it home... she eats anything and will willingly fight a frog for a worm lmao caught her doing it the other week when gardening..poor frog had to go hungry lol

Hillzi, the Slowies tend to be thrashers or poopers... Or both

Kellog, those are some great photos of some beautiful animals!
Ive not yet come across a grass snake And only ever found a couple of Adders.
Heres a gorgeous little one I found last summer.
