Posted - 09/07/2009 : 10:42:15 thanks my beardie is in shed again right now. She has started having a pinkie as a treat once every month and she is loving them lol. She eats them in one gulp haha. She is putting on more weight now as i always thought she was quite skinny. |

Posted - 08/07/2009 : 22:29:00 i know but my geckos don't actually go round licking their substrate. my beardie licks the log because thats where we treat her with wax worms
My geckos are on exo terra red sand and beardie exo terra yellow. Both desert sand. Yes they were on calci sand for 5 days as the shop had no other sand atm |

Posted - 07/07/2009 : 14:57:59 Nearly any substrate can be a problem for lizards, especially Beardies, they'll try to eat everything. (mine do anyway).
In fact someone on here posted a while back about one of their lizards eating a fake plant. |

Posted - 07/07/2009 : 13:39:30 Are your leos being kept on calcium sand? Just i've read in lots of places that sand is a bad idea for them? |
