Thought I'd post a few photos of my little rescue beardie, Dany.

Got her three years ago. I think she's about 5 or 6 years old now. Her previous owners didn't keep track of her age, didn't feed her right, and eventually didn't want her any more. She has had MBD in the past, so all her legs and most of her toes are a little bit twisted, as well as having a lump on the underside of one jaw. She has a bit of trouble walking, and tends to stomp and sometimes stagger a little bit, but she's not in any pain and is perfectly cheerful.

She laid 50 eggs last March/April.

She's also the cuddliest little reptile I've ever met.

In less good news though, she recently had a vet visit. She has reduced lung definition, and the vet was worried she may have fluid buildup in her chest and abdomen. He wonders if she has heart trouble, leading to her general laziness and slowness in waking up. He was reluctant to do any exploratory surgery, and instead I'm working on making her tank more disabled-beardie friendly and giving her extra assistance and care. So far, she's not suffering and is doing better than ever.

Aw, bless her. She's very sweet. What a shame the old owners weren't as caring as you!
Thank goodness you've got her now.
