Since Boots came back we've had her on a large fuzzy every week. I didn't want to shock her system by putting her straight back on to smalls, however it turns out a fuzzy a week is not nearly enough.
She had this thingy in her viv to climb on.
The thingy is a foam covered piece of wire, it can be bent to whatever shape you want. She had it in her viv before and loved climbing it. We've taken it out now. The reason?
She tried to eat it. I'm not kidding, we looked in the tank and found her gnawing ferociously on it. A line of saliva went down it where she'd been working along. I wish we'd taken pictures but I was too concerned with the spots of blood at her lips. I guess she got a tooth stuck int he foam or something, there's no obvious sign of injury. I'm just thankful she didn't start at the end, there would have been no way to get it back out of her if she'd started swallowing it.
I offered her a small mouse after that, it didn't last very long. |

I think she'll be fine, she wasn't shy about eating the mouse. She was out hunting again tonight, I'm surprised she's even digested it so fast :/ Making up for lost time I guess XD I've taken out anything that she might be able to get her jaws round now. |

Oh boy, but from everything i have heard about kings, they are a bit weird! And better the tube thingy than herself as many kings do. Hope she will be ok if lost a tooth or two |
