So as you know I got a little gerbil to be a potential friend for drop. Well unfortunately little rain AKA ratbag didn't like Drop, although they were quite happy to 'talk' through the mesh when the partition was taken out Rain beat up Drop and I got bitten a few times by the little rabag. So I've called it a day on trying to bond them. So meet the new potentials!
Tear and fall they are both young girls who will fingers crossed be friends for Drop. This will be my last attempt at bonding Drop so hopefully we will have more success this time.
The original plan was to get a single young female, but these two had been bullied by a tank mate and separated from the group, the though on one of them being left along was just too sad to I got both of them

Razze ratbag erm I mean Rain will be living on her own, she's happy enough and is a little madam so think she will be better as a lone gerbie. I don't need encouragement to get any more animals  !
LadySybil sorry your little one was bullied, these two girls both have marks on their tails from where they have been bullied by their former cage mates, infact I noticed earlier that poor little Drop Jr as she has currently been nicknamed has a rip in one of her ears  poor girl. I would have left Drop on her own but she wasn't coping and even being split from Rain she was very quite. She's much happier now that she has company even if they aren't actually together yet. Heres some better pictures:

Ive got a single girl, she was picked on and bullied by the rest of the gerbils in her previous house too.
She seems happy enough on her own with handling from me and playing with Tat through the cage bars lol. Hope this time it works out for you. |
