Posted - 22/02/2014 : 14:14:31 Well OH tried changing her orchid bark to coco fibre to see if would hold the humidity better - she obviously hated it as we didn't see her again as she spent her whole time in the cold hide (an exo terra enclosed one filled with moss). When she feeds, she obviously usually goes across to the warm side if not already there, but she stayed in the cold side overnight still!!! So obviously hoping to avoid a regurge, OH cleared out all the coco fibre and replaced with orchid bark again and sure enough, she went straight into the warm side again. Fussy snake!!
So, she finally came out again the other night so here's a couple of pics - wouldn't think she used to be a non-feeder would you?

You're not kidding about her being a chunker Lou, she seem so short and fat after the corns!! (OH gets the ump with me saying that rofl) It's difficult to know if she is OK or actually overweight, as we're just so used to thinner snakes :P Mind you that's the same with Artemis, she seems fat compared with the corns too, and she is growing at a right old rate :O |
