Stunning collection! So adorable too bless them. I'd just love a Cobolt Blue...

Aww maybe at some point in the future you'll be able to get one if you mither enough Moppet!

I thought it may be that you were seeing Red123. Glad its helped. Yep its mad how you become attached. Little Aragog is one of my faves, so tiny but so calm

Mort, have you had your curly hair since a tiny sling? I have a curly hair sling which is still tiny but I have noticed it has a dark spot on its back and this spot looks almost black . At first I thought it was due to molt but even after molting twice its still there. Just wondering if its normal.

The curly hair has only had one moult with me.

Does the black spot look like this?

That pic is my Chile Flame, it always has that spot. Its where the urticating hairs are and perfectly normal

Excellent thanks, that's exactly what it looks like. Can breath a sigh of relief now. Wouldn't want anything to happen to the little guy. Strange how you can become attached to such a small one.

Very interesting stuff I still think they're cute and it's nice to see photos of them again. No spiders (or bugs) allowed in my house and I do love tarantulas

Um yeah, lovely ;)

btw at what point does a sling become a juvi, and then a juvi an adult? And are there any other in-between terms?

Erm, good question! There's no actual rule as far as I'm aware. People seem to have different ideas. For me I count them as juveniles once they look like a mini tarantula rather than a little spider. You then have sub adult which from what I've read is the stage before the moult into adult.
