Little lumpy royal ^_^ She doesn't like rat pups, so she's on mouse pinkies until I can go get some fuzzies. Even then she'll only eat a pinky if I place it in her mouth. Blasted royals, why did I ever think they were a good idea lol |

I would think that getting her feeding regularly first is the most important and then once she is you can then switch her over to rats. Good news that she took a fuzzy. |

Quick update on this little lady, she had her first fuzzy today. Had to be an assist feed but once it was in her mouth she ate it no problem, and swallowed it right down just fine ^_^ I'd rather have her on rat pups but she appears to simply not like them, since she spits out every pup I try to give her but takes the mice okay :/ |

I would get some suitably sized prey straight away as pinkies will not be sufficient for him/her. |

I'm not sure :/ She's only taken a couple of feeds so far, and the pinks really are tiny for her, so maybe she doesn't even realise they haven't been properly swallowed? When I get a fuzzy down her I'll let you know lol |

Only one at a time, but every 4 days. She'll only take one at a time, gets too annoyed to try with a second. Plus she hasn't actually swallowed one independently yet. She eats it, but then it sits in her throat and I have to run her through my hands to get it down. Very strange.
The previous owner never got back to me, I've given up. He's just ignoring me. It's a shame, but she seems to be improving and she acts normally enough. |
