Posted - 02/10/2013 : 15:43:56 They are gorgeous Moppet I thought Ludo was tiny at 8g but yours are so diddy, must admit Ludo weighed 21g when I weighed him last, but he eats so much and knows when crickets are going to be offered and is on the front waiting for them and a couple of times has pounced on my hand when retrieving his food bowl to fill. Looking forward to updates on your two |

Thanks SBB. I might have to brave my dislike for bugs and get some tiny crickets for my mini dragons to try, their breeder said they've had crickets with her already so I know they have eaten them in the past. I don't think I could cope with roaches. Ick. I think you're braver than me in that respect.
The thought of roaches reeeeeally grossed me out, but when small are just like woodlice, which i dont mind at all. Weird that i have grown attatched to the adults, what freaked me out at first is they have a good grip when bigger, but they are so so shy, stick their head down in egg carton and think they are hidden lol |

Posted - 27/09/2013 : 01:52:45 She got crickets at first, but didnt really like them, then i got her dubia roaches, she loved them, kinda bored of them now, so i now have adults that i cant bear to put in the freezer, she will have one a month, but that was her choice. every so often she will get fruit, but is fussy, only likes pear and mango Its really funny watching them stalk bugs, but Fudge also stalks fruit lol. They get such an intense look! |

Posted - 26/09/2013 : 22:56:10 Gosh, Fudge is huge That's quite a difference!
I'm currently working on OH letting me try crickets. He hates bugs (i'm really not keen) but I'd like to give Jaffa and Echo a chance to hunt (would be good to watch) and I think I can tolerate small crickets (would need to be very small with the size of my little ones...). Do you feed Fudge bugs or just CGD? |

Posted - 26/09/2013 : 22:44:26 I love their toes!!! Its so great getting to handle them properly for the first time. At 12 weeks Fudge was 4g and is now a whopping 48g |

Posted - 26/09/2013 : 21:31:07 Thank you Echo is totally unphased by most things so far. Almost always sat right in the middle of the viv, on a vine in plain view Jaffa is a bit more nervous and an expert hider.
I'm still getting used to their size. So diddy I love the way they move, carefully unsticking each foot by curling the toes up. So cute.
Cresties are an awesome little lizard, I wish I'd got mine sooner! 3 days until I can handle them for the first time (other than putting them into their new home which was VERY brief). I've got some gram scales and I'm going to weigh them and find out just how tiny they are. I'm guessing about 3grams?

Posted - 26/09/2013 : 20:42:15 Aw, how cute and teeny tiny are they! Can't help but have a soft spot for little Echo If I was to have another lizzie this is what I'd have, they are so adorable. My mum was rather taken with them at Donny too! |

Posted - 23/09/2013 : 00:35:00 When i was at Donny today and saw how teeeeny tiny the baby cresties were i almost got one. But then i thought that Buck, even though only 3 months, is HUGE compared to the tiny babys! that he may chomp on one :o Your two are gorgeous and im super jealous ^^ |

Posted - 22/09/2013 : 22:31:51 Thanks Razee, yeah they're really very diddy ^^ although to be fair, he is stood behind the lid (standing on the edge of the lid because he couldn't reach over the edge!)

They are even tinier than I thought, compared to that bottle lid! So, so cute. Bonsai dragons :-) Must be really confident and happy to eat straight away. |

Yes, that is a normal sized bottle cap...

I hope so, I was worried it would be too big and they'd get lost and frightened. They're so teeny tiny, I hope they eat okay and aren't too stressed in their new home |
