Ok as Indigo was out cruising his enclosure last night I decided he could have his photo shoot - not the best photos, but he has never been particularly helpful when I try to take photos.

Indigo is a little smaller than Ruby weighing in at 255g, but then he is about 8 months younger - will eventually be Ruby's toy boy
Hope you enjoy and thanks for looking

I've seen the care sheet. What size vivarium are you keeping yours in? Also are you using glass or wood? How hard is it to maintain humidity?

Hi Welshlamb, I currently have my two BRB's in 2' plastic Pennine vivs, these are their temporary homes until I source some decent 4' vivs of my liking.
The two CRB's are in 3' vivexotics, which have been varnished and sealed - these seem to be holding out so far
I am looking at probably getting something from these guys: http://www.reptileforums.co.uk/forums/equipment-classifieds/959759-nonstop-reptiles-plastic-vivariums.html
They look great and can be made to my specifications regards ventilation and opening (regular sliding glass or hinged)
Their final homes will be a minimum of 4'x2'x2' - I prefer plastic due to the ease of cleaning, thermal properties and maintenance of humidity without deteriation of the viv.
I don't have an issue with humidity, as long as they have a well maintained moss hide (I supply two + a large water bowl) they will always have some where that has a high humidity.
I know of people who use glass vivs successfully, you just have to reduce the ventilation and insulate the back and sides to maintain the heat (covering the sides and back also provides a more enclosed viv - these snakes are shy and secretive)
I hope this has helped - I am no expert and most of my knowledge comes from searching various forums and facebook groups

they really are beautiful, I would love a Rainbow one day (when I win the lottery and get a reptile room in a big house or start my own reptile shop!) till then I'll just dream.

That is great news about being on a waiting list

Thanks all for your lovely comments.
Indigo obviously thinks my hands were dirty as he has spent the entire day sleeping in his water bowl

Beautiful, again, good rainbows, and I like the way they change colour at night, getting more white up their sides.
