Posted - 01/07/2013 : 16:38:10 I have never really liked reptiles with legs However all the photos of cresties have some how made me want to over come my dislike of feet. Cresties are just so damned cute I just kept getting drawn to them, so to cut the story I will introduce my latest addition
Any ideas on morph greatly appreciated as I have no idea |

HaHa - yes once I have decided on some thing I usually don't take too long in putting plans into actions.
Embarrassingly I think crested geckos could almost be as addictive as corn snakes - I am already hooked by this little one

Oh dear - I seem to be a little predictable I should stop asking questions I have been toying for several months now, they are just so damned cute and had been gathering equipment and information
The good news is that I know he/she has actually eaten tonight |

Posted - 02/07/2013 : 16:04:21 aww what a cute new addition, I have to admit I wasn't all that bother about having a lizard myself until little Jeff hatched (I know not actually a crestie but still a gecko ). An am only just understanding corn morphs let alone any others lol this morph stuff is all very complicated |

Posted - 02/07/2013 : 11:21:06 I find the whole morph thing really confusing, apparently red and black dalmation because it has both red and black spots - I get that, but all the other stuff just confuses me The whole jumping thing was just cute - didn't jump too far and luckily all my cats were out, so wasn't stressed about them trying to catch it. I already wish I had made the step earlier and totally understand why someone on another thread said 'everyone needs a crestie' |

Posted - 02/07/2013 : 00:58:48 I know nothing about morphs, just glad i got the dalmation bit right! They can be fast, but since you have seen the mad jumping part and not freaked out, you will be fine |

If seems bit unsettled, maybe Fudge is weird, but really likes me talking to her, and calm her down when in jumpmode And getting a crestie is a decision you will wish you made ages ago! What was it that you didnt like about reptiles with legs?
I have only handled the little one once since getting, leaving it to settle and hopefully eat (haven't seen it eat anything yet) I have always associated lizards as fast scampering little creatures and didn't think I would be able to handle them I posted this photo on a fb group and some one decided the little one is a red & black dalmation flame

Dalmation was mentioned by the person I got it from, but they didn't know much and just mentioned it was a slow starter with regards feeding. Sticky feet - found it quite strange the first time I held him/her, but is so comical when it makes a leap for some where new.
Thanks every one for your comments and Herriotfan I am already besotted with the little character |

Posted - 01/07/2013 : 19:03:09 There's some dalmation in there for sure, maybe a bit of fire too. You're going to love having a crestie, they're such adorable little characters. |

Posted - 01/07/2013 : 17:16:07 They do look incredible, like they have a head dress of some sort on and they are dressed to go out all the time. My list just got longer. I don't know about Crestie morphs either, sorry. |
