They are on offer just now at £9.99 but there is no rush, so dont mind when price goes back up, especially if he buys it himself, or my parents get him it!

Will warn him to get an older one, and to wait till they have them
Thanks for that info xx

No probs hun, there is the chance it may moult before then and have quite an increase in size. With the increase in size there is an increase in price but I think its worth it. My girl is about 4 cm's (just under an inch), unsexed ones were going for around £16 x

Mamma - Your kids have taste! As for how it feels? Someone once described it as like an electric current but without the pain, probably the best way to describe it. My pair are at it again hahaha!!

hmmm... im not overly convinced... hahaha

My son is after a mexican red knee T , they are really small just now, how fast are yours when really small? I dont mind him getting one, told him to ask his gran for his 18th, (i cant as i got him his phone early) both our concern is the speed of them when diddy, do they take off like bullets, of kinda slow?

My red knee is pretty skittish. She darts about all over the place when I take the lid off her enclosure to change water/spot clean etc. Considered re named her Zippy due to her little bursts of speed!! She's actually surprised me with how fast she can shift, although its only ever a short dart off, they aren't designed for long distance running How small are the ones your son has seen? For a first T I personally wouldn't go for anything smaller than 2 inches legspan as the mortality rate is a lot less and they are over the *delicate* stage.

mjpeters - the nobbly bits are droplets of water, I'd just sprayed the RUB and he got caught in the crossfire
Been there, done that beardie wise about 16 years ago. Haven't the room now

Articulated bugWhat are those knobbly bits on his back?
Maybe you could grow Herbs/plants on the poop-then you'd need something to eat the plants-beardie maybe
