Monday our baby hognoses started to pip , sadly while i was in the middle of a long stretch at work , most are now out of their eggs and the odds were smiling on us it seems . 19 eggs , we got 100% hatch rate that included 12 albinos and 7 het albinos! The pairing was albino male to het albino female . Heres abit of a pic over load!
And here is a video and the dramatic actor we have that should surely win an oscar award for this performance!

Lisa they are slightly more heavy bodied than corns , they don't get as long generally although females get bigger than males and chubbier in the body . They are shorter stubbier snakes :) |

Been looking at the vids of these and they are so cute would love to get one in the future had Nevis our corn for a few years now but not ure if I feel reay o experience another species yet how big do these cuties get and is looking after them any different to looking after a corn ? Sorry for all the questions just curious |

Hehe i don't think I have ever been pooped on as much by any snake as this lot ! 5 have all taken their first feeds the rest dont get it yet , but they all hatched over. Week so some are maybe just too young yet and full of yolk . They have now learnt how to hiss and strike and if it fails they then play dead but then look up at you as tho to say "oh your still there then " |

Not sure what's going on, video link works fine for me in the original post and the code is the same as you posted Smartbunny *confused frown*....

Kellog my dear, I edited my post at 9.22am when the link wasn't working, then you came along, edited the original post at 9.52am and fixed the link, so my post no longer made sense!!

By the way, they are SO adorable  . How anyone couldn't fall in love with a shovel-face when they look like this I don't know  ! And that video, gave me a much needed laugh....after fighting with Photobucket  .

Scaly that one would right its self fast , but ive just individually photographed 16 of them and i have one female that stayed like it for about 5 mins and I've been head butted so many times ! |
