This forum should have a sticky warning of the danger of falling in love with other reptiles that people just have to post (please dont blame me for Fudge, i didnt want a crestie till i came here lol )

Here is her set up as requested, its a 66 litre tub

The blue flower is a hair clip, just to cover up the bunched hygrometer/thermometer wire, it bugged me seeing it so messy

My camera makes the middle look more cluttered than it really is

took the pics before i sprayed, or pics would have been blurry

I will take a pic tonight, but i keep her in a rub on its side, it is easier for me to move/clean than a glass terrarium
Freddiesmum Posted - 31/05/2013 : 15:36:02
I see! Have been looking into them a bit more. Sound relatively easy to keep. I could probably come round to the bugs for a monthly treat or something - I mean I wasn't sure about thawing dead frozen mice about a year ago, how times have changed haha!

Could you post a pic of your set up if you don't mind? May be just me dreaming on....but you dreamt about your hoggie and finally are getting one *sings* 'dreams, can come true' haha

Although they dont need the bugs, if you did get a crestie, and maybe as a christmas treat or something, just stick with dubia roaches, and i think the minimum is 30, soooo easy to keep, quiet, and dont escape, or bite. and funny when crestie tries to catch them!

Yep my baby is all grown up
And bugs are just a treat, so the dont really need them. The repashy gives them every thing they need
So now no excuses for you and SB

If we were to get a lizard, it would definitely be a crestie,we do think they are gorgeous, but to be honest I think we'll be sticking with the snakes - really do NOT want to be dealing with live food again (I had lizards when I was younger)!

I'm not a lizard fan, but your photos of Fudge are slowly winning me round to cresties

And SB you KNOW you need a crestie
Fudge and myself Thank you four your kind comments

If I hadn't found this forum I reckon we would have just got 2 corns and that would have been it...

OK, maybe 4 corns so we would have had one each... but definitely not the lovely mixture of different snakes we have now :D
