I'm not fully up in the genetics but I was under the impression it was ex red bino x ex red bino that made purple phase. But u suppose high red is the same theory.

Cheers , the parents were a high red pair het for albino , not extreme red , I believe with the extreme taking the red part , purple became the next one to take , so hence the purple phase / line of hoggies .

Take a google and you will see what I mean :)
