I don't know! I fall to temptation and my rehoming instinct nature gets taken advantage of.

Meet Diego. A terror of a P@H Corn Snake otherwise known as a Dot-dash-stripey-banded and generally funky California King.

I did not believe it was possible for such small animal to be so annoyed by my piano playing that he had to let his feelings be known by doing this to my favourite boogie-woogie finger.

Not content with destroying my musical career, he carried on just being vindictive!
Oh! The pain! The pain! My ribs were aching from laughing so much at the cheek of it.

Turns out he was just peckish.

As you can see, funky just doesn't do it justice.

Hope you like him.

Aww his constricting is fab! Watch out, he'll be going for the whole hand next! I love seeing your photos Auld lol!!!
scottishbluebird Posted - 19/02/2013 : 16:35:30
Such an adorable constrict lol
Hissyfit Posted - 19/02/2013 : 16:06:53
Ha ha, better hope he doesn't grow too big or you'll be losing some fingers
coxymk2 Posted - 19/02/2013 : 12:23:37
Could be just doing a taste test for future reference lol
Razee Posted - 19/02/2013 : 08:02:11
He's just a tad ambitious, that's all
Maybe he thinks: finger today, whole hand tomorrow, the rest of Auld Baldy next week!
gmac Posted - 19/02/2013 : 01:30:22
lol not quite :D

Well, seeing as you enjoyed the previous photos, I got Diego to demonstrate his killer Strike & Constrict technique especially for you.

The unsuspecting victim is lulled into striking range before the lightning strike.

Then with the victim helpless with tears of laughter blinding him ... comes the killer constriction.

Go on, laugh. You might as well satiate your warpedness. Hope you wet yourself.

I would like to be angry/upset about your comment, but i REALLY do have a warped sick sense of humour

It really is bad enough selling a corn as wrong morph, but not even a corn? pft bloomin ridiculous
But you have a gorgeous new addition!
smart bunny Posted - 18/02/2013 : 21:16:09
OMG, king sold as a corn without any warnings about biteyness or musking :O Um, it wasn't that same store that was mentioned the other day by any chance selling an anery as a snow?

Sounds like they are particularly awful if so, I'm always fairly happy after visiting our local one - but then again I know what I'm looking at and how to care for it so have never tested their knowledge... but at least the morphs always look right and they label the kings as kings!

He is gorgeous though, I bet you're glad at the end result lol!

@ SB. It was sold to a kid (with parent). The P@H assistant assured them that Corn Snakes were docile. Of course as this is a King the kid got a nip and ended up terrified. When will these clowns get round to training their staff properly! Another kid growing up with an unnecessary phobia. Makes me angry and sad.

It must have been a young kid as the nips I've had from it barely count, more just a grip. Still frightening to a youngster.
