You must be so pleased that she has put weight on, (have read your post on the rainbow forum).
With regards to feeding I have to make sure the rat pink is super warm/hot, I even squish the head so brain fluid comes down the nose and I then annoy the hell out of them with it if they don't take it straight away.
If they take too long and the rat pink cools down I resort to reheating it in hot water and offering again.
Once they have struck at it I will leave it with them, they often drop it and circle round sniffing it for ages before they eventually decide to eat.
It can take anything up to 20 mins before they take it (sometimes longer) - people may not approve of my approach but so far they have never not eaten.
I tried leaving one in for Ruby once, still there in the morning so have never done that again.
I have learnt that rainbows like their food warm/hot.
I also have found that when in shed they are fussier, the problem with this is that the shed cycle seems to take for ever on my rainbows compared to my corns.

I love the second shot, much easier to photo these pair than any of my other snakes
The CRB's are my favourites of my Rainbows and don't get quite as big as the BRB's.

They are simply stunning snakes. You may have persuaded me that I need to add it to my wishlist...

How large a viv do columbians need when they're an adult? Space is the main reason I haven't got a BRB yet but if they don't get as big I may be able to squeeze one in...

Do the adults need to be fed rats or will jumbo mice be big enough for them?

I think I could house them in a smaller viv than my BRB's but I am planning on a stack of 4 x 2 x 2 vivs, one each for the 4 Rainbows and as for food They will be getting rats as I don't think mice would provide them with enough. They are currently on 2 rat pups/pinks because I can't get fuzzies and small weaners are too big.
The only time I fed a mouse to my BRB he regurged.

Also be aware as adults they will lose most of the pattern and should be a nice brown colour.

@smart bunny, they are growing like weeds but are both much fussier to feed than the BRB's. They are weighing in at 80g and 70g the last time I weighed them.
