Posted - 10/01/2013 : 14:10:41 Hi all :)
So I've been thinking recently I want a gecko or something, something I can feed live bugs to.
Now something like leos are pretty run of the mill, but if you could have any lizard in the world what would it be? Post a pic if you can.
Here's mine...
Hyper Melanistic BTS

Ha ha, that's the same reason I don't want any insect eaters in the house |

Posted - 10/01/2013 : 17:39:07 Yay Lizards! Good question.
I don't have enough space for one, but if I did (and could let it have the run of my house when I was home) then I would totally get one of these guys...

A slightly more practical option...I also love chameleons (particularly veiled), their feet are so cool. I don't think I would like having live bugs in my house though, eugh!

Although Hyper melanistic BTS would be a very close third! Skinks are great, they had one at uni who was so huffy and puffy but when you picked him up he decided he couldn't be bothered and didn't actually mind it so much. haha.

Posted - 10/01/2013 : 15:59:00 Figs, the second one down (fire skink?) looks seriously like a snake with wee feet! Crazy haha!

Posted - 10/01/2013 : 15:53:21 Sorry wont be joining in with this - not a lizard fan, not really sure why, just not sure about their feet!!! Much prefer me snakes - no feet Suppose I could go with a slow worm, at least they dont have feet lol. Not sure about the whole creepy crawly stuff, live food etc. The only lizard likely to tempt me would be a cresty. |
