Progress is proceeding with the Kings of Mayhem. Fester has thankfully lost interest in trying to eat me. That privilege has been taken up by Vambo. I can hear him humming his favourite fairy-tale tune as he stalks me. It sounds like "Fee fie foe fum, I'm gonna bite Auld Baldy's bum!" 
Rattler still doesn't realise that a King Snake is supposed to be a fearless beast, and be able to stand his ground and not scurry for his hidey hole if anyone looks at him sideways. At least the tail rattling like an outboard engine has subsided to a moderate purr and I can wear the same t-shirt for a full day.
Mirkey on the other hand is a true gentleman with decent table manners.

Finally Vambo doing his best to scare the poop out of me. Nothing wrong with his sense of smell but his eyesight is cause for concern. Two clips, first is him thinking all his birthdays have arrived at once in the shape of a giant baldy rat. Second bit is after eating the real rat and burping. He certainly doesn't have the manners of Mirkey.

Donnie, since the Olympics finished there has been nothing but utter tosh filling the airwaves. (Not that I watched them anyway.) It is likely to continue until the 'C' word season starts. Then you can watch and sing-a-longa The Great Escape. I usually have the radio on and let that waft over me. Late night Radio Scotland and RealXS keep the brain cells rocking as they once did a long time ago. 
Mick, I need something to keep the blood pumping through the cholesterol pipes. A wee legal adrenalin rush is just the ticket. Tortoise indeed, cheeky young whipper-snapper!
SBB, I have a soft spot for Mirkey as he was the first of the rescues. I'll post more of him chilling on his logs. Sits draped on them for days on end, lording it over his domain.
Vambo is due a weight check.It will be interesting to see what he's put on since the last one. More of the rest to come. |

Think you might have to start keeping something gentler at your age you don't want to give yourself a seizure lol.
Have you thought of keeping tortoises they might be easier for such an aged person lmao. |
