Well i have finally stopped shaking !! a week ago we were sure the two eggs we have were gonna hatch as they seemed yellow and vacant inside , so tonite as the bedroom was getting dark i candled the egg feeling slightly sad , when all of a sudden the baby moved in the egg and goo popped into my hand and out wriggled this tiny little thing! I have never shook so much in all my life!
This is baby Moo (named mufassa by my sister who will have this little one when hes bigger )
Im over joyed and so slightly shocked that this little one is here! I hope he makes it and grows and fingeres crossed the sencond egg will hatch in the next few days :)

OMG how bloomin adorable. Bet you nearly dropped through the floor when Moo hatched in your hand. They are just sooooo amazing.

Yes guys!! i went upstairs to get changed peeked into the tub and baby no2 was half out the egg . Didnt get too many shot they will follow in the next few days as he was covered in yolk which i wanted him to absorb but here he is next to moo and an ear bud to show size .
In this pic u can see that moo is halfway thru shedding and finn looks all shiney from the yolk :)
So pleased we have both here safe after thinking they werent gonna hatch , they kept us waiting 99 days! I will keep updating pics on here each week to show how they grow and change if u want me to that is . Left them upstairs to relax and rest up and will then try feeding tomorro |
