they get to anywhere around 300 - 600g whereas a wild hog is more like 1kg so around half the size really. Im on a few hedgie forums, mainly pygmyhogsuk.com, http://hedgehogrescue.forumotion.co.uk and *****ly-critterz.niceboard.com There is also a US site, hedgehog central but the US tends to look after them different (I prefer our ways lol) I have a care sheet on my site as well http://joyfulhedgehogs.webs.com/hedgehogcare.htm

this may be a really stupid question but these dont get as big as wild hedge pigs do they? I dont know anything about them, but they are very very cute. Can you recommend a place to read up about them?
